Explore the Wilderness at Sierra Estrella Mountains

It is never boring to enjoy some time out in the wilderness, and taking in the splendid views and fresh air of nature. If you are going to Phoenix for a little breather or even some good ol’ outdoor hiking and biking, or even horse riding, you should think about spending some time at Sierra Estrella and the Estrella Mountain Regional Park.
The Estrella Mountain Regional Park is a 19,840 acres of desert and mountain ranges. It became the first regional park in the Maricopa County Park System since 1954, and is located near the meeting point of the Gila and Agua Fria Rivers. This park features a large wetland, although the majority of the park is made up of pristine desert land.
